Love God, Love People, Love Life

Emmanuel Pentecostal Church is a community of believers who are empowered to advance the Kingdom of God in their everyday life.

We are a church of people who love God, love people and love life:

  • We love God – this is expressed through our sincerity in worship, faithfulness in prayer and devotion to Bible study.
  • We love people – this relates to all people from our church to our towns to the nations of the world.
  • We love life – this is seen as we serve together, grow together and eat together!

We love to meet new people, and visitors receive a friendly welcome.

What can I expect to happen on a Sunday?

A normal Sunday morning consists of a few components. Here is a description of them:

Communion – every Sunday, we take communion together, which is a reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made for each of us. You are under no obligation to take part.

Worship – there will be sung worship, usually led by guitar. Again, you are under no obligation to take part.

Welcome – you will be made to feel very welcome at Emmanuel.

Length of service – usually 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Refreshments – we serve refreshments at the end of every service. This is an opportunity to get to know people and ask any questions you might have.

What shall I wear?

There is no dress code.

Do you have a car park?

Yes. There is a car park and on-street parking available.

Will I be asked for money?

Every Sunday, we take an offering. This is an expression of our worship. You are under no obligation to give money.

Is there anything for my children?

We provide a creche for under 5s and activities within the service for over 5s.
